Elkins Fish & Game Club

The Elkins Fish and Game Club, in conjunction with the NRA, conducts "Women On Target Instructional Shooting Clinic" events. The event is intended for women only. Girls ages 8 to 16, and women 17 and up, will learn how to safely handle and shoot firearms by NRA Cerified Instructors. The event provides a safe and friendly atmosphere, where participants can learn and have fun in the company of other women. We supply everything you need (rifles, ammo, eye & ear protection, targets, and NRA Certified Instructors). All you need to do is bring a desire to learn.

The event will be held on SATURDAY, AUGUST 11, 2012, rain or shine.

Check-in is at 09:30 AM. Orientation and safety training start at 10:00 AM and the event will run until around 3:00 PM, providing lots of time for learning and shooting and having a fun day.

Pre-Registration is required. There is a limit of 16 students, so early registration is recommended.

The event fee is $25 for women and $15 for girls (ages 8 to 16).

Directions to range:
Take RTE 89 to Exit 11. Go toward Andover.
(from SOUTH, turn RIGHT onto King Hill Road
or from NORTH, turn LEFT onto King Hill Road.)
Go approx. 4 miles and turn RIGHT onto Joy Farm Road.
(just past Walker Automotive)
Go approx. 1/3 mile on Joy Farm Road to the "T".
Turn RIGHT and go approx. 1/2 mile
Range is on the left at 189 Pine Hill Road.
Parking will be marked, farther up the road.
